Hello there faithful wanderer, I'm Alex. Long ago people dubbed me Spotty or Breezey. I giggle now to think of those friends long lost. I am fairly active on the internet, however mostly I lurk. I live in a small, but lively town on the East side of the United States, but I am part German.
Though I still wish to animate, I have been exposed to lovely movies and an amazing video course at my school. I want to screen write, or write novels in the very least. Currently I am writing a Young Adult novel for NANOWRIMO, about a girl and a dragon.
I like to draw and paint, though I am not very good at it. My favorite books are the Last Unicorn, the Lord of the Rings and its prequels, WaterShip Down, and Guardians of Childhood. Comic books are great too. I am currently reading All New X-Men, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Captain Marvel. I am also hoarding hundreds of 80's X-Men comics.
My favorite movies are various; I love the Last Unicorn, the Princess Bride, Star Dust, ChungKing Express, the Quiet Man, Mary Poppins, and the Lion King. Star Wars and Lord of the Rings are also high on that list, as well as Thor and the Avengers. A few other favorite movies include Princess Mononoke, Howls Moving Castle, The Secret of NIMH, and the Iron Giant.
TV shows I watch include Buffy, Star Trek, Wolf's Rain and Agents of Sheild, and Once upon a Time. I do love Evangelion and Studio Ghibli stuff too. I visit forums for them frequently.
I want to write movies. I have done small projects at school, and am shifting to dramatic territory in this year. I want to go to colleges like SCAD, USC, or UCLA. Only time will tell....

I followed Leonard Nimoy on Twitter and was always delighted to have one of his tweets pop up. I remember the tense feeling in my chest when I read the article that he was in the hospital, but then the sigh of relief when it updated saying he was doing better. Sadly, it's been over a month now and I can't help but think about it. Star Trek was my childhood, the franchise that is optimistic and focused on all types of people. Leonard Nimoy was a great man. He refused the play Spock in a cartoon if equal pay was not provided to his coworkers. He directed easily the best film in the franchise, the Voyage Home (yes, the best.) He was such a kind
